Frequently Asked Questions
Short answers to what travellers ask us most before booking. If your question is not here, just send us a message.
Chat on WhatsAppAre your Morocco tours private?
Yes. Every tour is private, so the vehicle and driver-guide are for your party only. You set the pace, decide where to stop for photos or tea, and never wait for a group.
Can you change an itinerary to fit my dates and interests?
Of course. The tours on this website are starting points. Tell us your arrival city, how many days you have and what you would like to see, and we will shape a route around that — adding nights, swapping stops or changing the start and end city.
How far is the Sahara Desert from Marrakech and Fes?
Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi dunes are roughly a nine to ten hour drive from Marrakech and seven to eight hours from Fes. That is why we recommend at least three days from Marrakech, breaking the journey in the Dades Valley, so the road becomes part of the trip instead of a long transfer.
What is a night in a desert camp like?
You normally reach the camp by camel around sunset, or by 4x4 if you prefer. We offer two options, both with private tents, en-suite bathrooms and hot showers: a mid-range luxury camp, and a luxury camp with more spacious tents, air conditioning and heating. Dinner is served at the camp, followed by music around the fire and a very dark, starry sky. Most guests wake early to watch the sunrise from the dunes.
When is the best time to visit Morocco?
March to May and September to November bring mild weather across most of the country and are ideal for combining cities with the desert. Winter days are sunny but desert nights are cold, and July and August are very hot in the Sahara, so we adjust timings and activities in those months.
How do I book or ask for a quote?
Send us a message on WhatsApp or by email with your dates, group size and the tour you like. We reply personally with a detailed itinerary and price, and you can ask for as many changes as you need before confirming.
